Additional Tour Opening During
the Olympic Games

Our popular 1 ½ hour guided tours of the Foundry take place on Saturdays when no work is being undertaken. For those aged 14 and over only, the cost of standard tour tickets is £12.00 per head. LINK

SPECIAL OLYMPIC OPENING

During the Olympic fortnight only, we are offering a very special opportunity to visit the Foundry at 34 Whitechapel Road to witness the UK’s oldest manufacturing company in action.

The foundry will be open daily from 10.00 am to 5pm (last admission 4.30pm) from Saturday, July 28th until Sunday, August 12th.

Tours will be self-guided, families are welcome, this is a unique chance to see how bells are moulded and to see many of our highly specialised craft skills in operation. The casting of bells and pouring of hot metal, however, is not permissible during this time, due to health and safety considerations.

Visit our small museum, shop and our new heritage and education centre, a project which is part of the High Street 2012 initiative.

Admission: £10.00 per head.

Family entry: 2 adults and up to 4 children £25.00.
Children under 14 not admitted without adult supervision

Accessible by arrangement with staff on site, who will be pleased to help No adapted accessible toilet facilities available
